My company puts together a monthly recap of the news / articles concerning SEO, paid search, inbound marketing, and digital marketing in general for our blog. We call it a digital digest (see here http://www.arcintermedia.com/shoptalk/arc/digital-digest-jan-2017-adwords-clickbait-interstitials/ ) but for the effort that goes in I’m not sure that it provides the value that is intended.
We spend time collecting and evaluating articles, then we write a quick recap… but for what? It’s not driving traffic and I’m not even sure our customer’s are interested. Most people who work in the industry have already read these articles.
Does anyone else do something similar to this? If so, are you successful? What makes it a success?
